What is Imperfectly Planned?

Imperfectly Planned is a planning brand built around one idea: a plan that works for your real life is worth more than a perfect one that doesn't.

It's run by me, Sarah. It lives at imperfectplans.com and @plannedimperfectly on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest. You'll find planning content, a blog, and a shop with printable planning tools, notepads, and stickers.

Everything here is designed for people who really want to use their planners, not just set them up. No complicated systems, no pressure to be consistent, no aesthetic requirements.

What makes Imperfectly Planned different?

Most planning content is built around the ideal version of your plans, where nothing runs over, every habit gets tracked, and your planner looks like a Pinterest post. That's not what this is.

Imperfectly Planned starts from the assumption that your life is already full, your plans will change, and that's fine. Simpler layouts, honest content, and zero pressure to do it perfectly or not at all.

The name isn't accidental. Planning imperfectly, consistently, beats perfect planning that never actually happens.

Who are these products for?

People who like the idea of planning but have a complicated relationship with actually doing it. Because life gets full, systems fall apart mid-week, or every planner they've tried has felt like one more thing to keep up with.

If you've bought planners you never finished, started fresh a dozen times, or planned well for three days and then fell off completely, you're in the right place.

These tools aren't for people who have it figured out. They're for people who are still figuring it out.

What is Planirvana?

Planirvana is the state where your planning system is actually working for you. Not a finish line you cross once, but a place you can keep coming back to. The Imperfect Practice is the method that gets you there.

What is The Imperfect Practice?

It's the core method behind everything here. A low-barrier, repeatable planning routine that's simple enough to come back to after you've fallen off, because you will fall off, and that's the whole point.

Products

What do you sell?

Two kinds of things.

Printables & Digital Planners. Instant digital downloads you print at home or use on an iPad. The Imperfect Practice Kit is the main one.

Paper and stickers. Notepads and stickers that ship to you.

Can I reuse the printables every year?

Yes. Everything is undated. Print a fresh page whenever you need one.

Do I need GoodNotes to use the printables or digital planners?

No. GoodNotes and Notability are popular, but any PDF annotation app works, including ZoomNotes and Xodo. You can also just print them.

Are your tools printable or digital?

Both! Most products come in a digital PDF format you can use on an iPad with apps like Goodnotes or Notability—and they’re also printable if you love pen and paper. I do recommend tweaking your printer settings to make sure you get a high-quality print!

Will you be adding more products?

Yes, slowly and on purpose. This is a one-person shop run in the evenings, so new products show up when they're ready.

The email list is where new products get announced first, usually with a discount.

Digital Orders & Downloads

How do I get my download?

Instantly. You'll get a download link on the order confirmation page and in your confirmation email. Check your spam folder if it doesn't show up within a few minutes.

My download link isn't working.

Email me at help@imperfectplans.com with your order number and I'll send the files directly.

Do you offer refunds on digital products?

Because digital products are delivered instantly, I can't offer refunds on them. But if a file doesn't work, won't open, or isn't what you expected, email me at help@imperfectplans.com and I'll fix it.

Can I share a printable with a friend?

All products are for personal use only. If someone would love it, send them the link so they can grab their own copy. Thanks for asking.

Shipping & Physical Orders

How long does it take to ship?

Imperfectly Planned is a one-person shop. I pack, and ship everything myself, usually in the evenings after my day job.

Orders ship within 3 to 5 business days. I drop off at the post office on Thursdays. So if your order comes in on a Tuesday afternoon, it will likely go out that Thursday.

During busier stretches, like new product launches and the holidays, processing can take up to 7 business days. I'll always post a note at the top of the site if things are running long.

What does shipping cost?

$6.95 flat rate to the contiguous US $11.95 to Alaska and Hawaii $13.95 to Canada Free US shipping on orders over $35

When will my order actually arrive?

Once your order leaves my hands, it's with USPS. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as the label is scanned.

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Tracking also goes quiet for a day or two mid-transit sometimes. That's normal and usually doesn't mean anything is wrong.

Do you ship internationally?

Right now I ship to the US and Canada. If you're somewhere else and want something, email me and I'll see what I can do.

My order arrived damaged.

Email me at help@imperfectplans.com within 7 days with a photo and I'll replace it. No return needed.

Can I return a physical product?

Unopened notepads and stickers can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Email me first and I'll walk you through it. Return shipping is on you unless the item arrived damaged or I sent the wrong thing.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If it hasn't shipped, yes. Email me as soon as you can with your order number.

Do you sell anywhere else?

Yes, there's an Etsy shop at ImperfectPlansShop. Same products, and ordering there is fine if it's easier for you. Buying here means more of it goes to funding the next thing.
