I didn’t start Imperfectly Planned because I had everything figured out. I started it in the middle of real life, when things felt messy, overwhelming, and constantly in flux. During postpartum in 2025, while navigating a new identity and a full plate, I realized I didn’t need the “perfect” planner or the aesthetic system everyone seemed to be using online. I needed something functional. Simple. Flexible. Something that made life feel lighter, not harder.

After trying planner after planner, feeling guilty about planner hopping, jumping between apps, and testing systems that looked great on paper but fell apart in practice, it finally clicked: planning doesn’t have to be perfect to work. It just has to support you - your routines, your season, your actual life.

That’s the heart of Imperfectly Planned.

I create and share planning tools for people like me—modern, tech-loving, juggling a lot—who crave structure but don’t want pressure, guilt, or unrealistic systems. If you’ve ever had half-finished lists scattered everywhere, a planner you forget for weeks, or days where you plan nothing at all… you’re not alone. This brand exists so you feel supported, not judged.

Some days, I use a full layout with all the stickers.
Some days, I scribble on a couple of sticky notes.
Some days, I don’t plan at all.
And it all still counts!

Imperfectly Planned is here to help you manage what’s on your plate with tools that feel doable and flexible enough for real life…whatever that looks like today.

And since I used to be a cheerleader, consider me your imperfect planning cheerleader now—here to encourage you, celebrate the small wins, share what’s working for me (and what isn’t), and remind you that progress > perfection. Preferably with a slice of pizza in hand.

The Imperfect Foundation

While it’s just me behind the scenes, Imperfectly Planned is built on values that many of us share:

  • Imperfection over performance — Planning doesn’t need to be pretty or perfect to work. Your pages, your process, your pace - they’re allowed to be messy, flexible, and REAL.

  • Perseverance in the everyday — Planning is a practice, not a performance. Some days you’re consistent, some days you aren’t. And that’s okay. What matters is that you keep showing up for yourself and your loved ones.

  • Community through honesty — We learn from shared experiences. Real spreads, real stories, real seasons. No comparison, no judgement. Just planners figuring it out together!

  • Planning as a tool, not a to-do — Your planner is here to help you live your life. It isn’t here to become another task that you feel pressured to maintain. Functional, simple, and supportive

  • Simplicity that feels doable — No over-engineered systems or rule-heavy methods. Just tools that make planning lighter, calmer, and more approachable.
